Excellent restaurant, great food for a reasonable price. We got the 4 course meat menu (there is also the vegetarian menu) and were completely satisfied at the end, they are well sized. The service is top level too, what you would expect in such a restaurant. Highly recommended!
Additional: I got to know this restaurant because of their nice hamburgers, but in the dinner menu there is no hamburger anymore. I asked the waitress and she explained they have changed the concept and now they only offer 1 option of hamburger during lunch time.

Delicious creative cuisine with a local touch, unfortunately too pricey for regular visits. Awesome service, great ambience.

The servers were attentive and the young man who seated me and took the order was friendly and efficient. I had the Kassler, which was just the right size for a light lunch. It was served with Rahmsauerkraut, but I would personally rather have just the normal Sauerkraut, which in my opinion is better to cut through the fat of the Kassler. Too bad that the Gänsebrunch is sold out—I’d come back for it otherwise.

Excellent location and loved the food and cocktails. A modern gastronomic experience, honoring the classic dishes and adding a contemporary twist to satisfy every palate. Exceptional service!

We were really excited to come here as we are both fans of Alexander Hermann's recipes and the ones we had tried at home had tasted really good. The beer was good but each course had elements that overpowered the rest of the dish too sour, too salty not enough and too sweet. The service was good and they took our comments on board but it was sadly disappointing for the price we paid or maybe our expectations were just too high. I would encourage Alexander to retrain his chefs.

I really liked the taste of the food and the atmosphere of the space. Well done! Unfortunately I couldn't see, how the food had anything to do with Frankonia (except for Baggers instead of fries). It's basically Burgers and Pizza and therefore I think a little overpriced. They do a lot of stuff with bread and pulled meat. For example the "Schäufele" Burger is pulled pork in a Prezeldough-bun which combines great but is not a Schäufele. They also have duck, beef and salmon for the burgers. Their tea was tastefull, too. Unfortunately the waiters did not speak english and weren't often around. Overall it was a good dinner but not at all what we (due to the name) expected.

The food is freshly made, very tasty and of good quality.
The menu options come with a Franconian twist and I can recommend the bread pizza or pulled pork or duck burgers.
My highlights are actually the homemade drinks! Try the berries lemonade or their ice teas. Delicious! And for the chocolate caramel lovers: the Freakshake: vanilla milk, marshmallows, caramel, cookies, nougat and chocolate..it’s a whole meal for itself but so good! :) I’ll be back.
