I really enjoyed visiting this museum. Especially when you're a train enthusiast. The collections are huge, well organized and there is outdoor yard and two halls which show real old trains. But, pay attention that the train yard will not be opened in Winter. Recommended museum when you're visiting Nuremberg.

Great museum with a lot of explanations and history and scale models as well as full-sized replicas.

I wished that the exhibits had English translations as I would prefer to read instead of listening to the audioguide.

The model train layout was quite a thing to watch.

Very nice museum where you can spend hours learning about the history of the railroads and everything connected with it. Kids will also love it, as they have one part of the museum dedicated especially to children.

I really love transport museum and I don’t miss a chance to visit one when I can. This one was really nice and interesting. They even have a Ludwig II train which was impressive. I just wished there was more trains to see and also some translations in English. Some things were only in German which was frustrating.

Great museum for anyone who loves trains. Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory would go nuts here. Great area for kids to play and have fun. There isn't much commentary in English. My favorite was seeing King Ludwig's salonwagon.

Wow just saw now, its one of the finest Transport DB museums in the world. Showcasing the 15th century models to latest Ice madel Trains, pls visit 1st and 2nd floor to chk all old technologies in the communication and media devices.
