Recently spent a few days in Nuremburg and had coffee one morning at Black Bean at Hallplatz in the city centre. Opening hours are 8am to 6pm daily.

There is indoor seating as well as a few tables setup outside this coffee shop. Place orders directly at the counter, they have a rather standard menu of coffee drinks as well as a few light bites.

During our visit, we double espressos that tasted ok - medium bodied and slightly bitter. We shared a bagel with creme cheese spread as well. This was equally fine.

In the end, we found Black Bean to be ok. It was less preferred to Machhorndl, another local coffee shop we tried on this visit to Nuremburg. Would go there first if you need a caffeine fix.

Good coffee taste ( double espresso) my expectations were higher. Good spot to start your day in Nürnberg.

Friendly staffs and quite cosy sitting. Coffee and cheese cake is decent but not exceptional.

5 Stars for the customer service from the young waitress who served us this morning... She was willing, and delivered a coffee to my desired specifications upon a friendly conversation, in English. I came here for a 2nd coffee after being disappointed at the appealing service Case Pane staff dish out to their paying customers... Wish I had come here the 3 days we spent in Nuremberg... Was awesome to get a HOT coffee finally also!!

Lovely cosy coffee shop. The beautiful staff are very cheery and helpful to tourists. The seats are comfy and the coffee is great! :)

Nice little cafe with loads of outdoor seating and very friendly service from the young lady serving us. Also good coffee and croissants.
