So in order to get the key for the two booked and ALREADY PAID apartments, we postponed our appointments and drove to the apartment. Arrived there, despite the check-in time (1pm to 3pm) nobody was to be found. In addition, contrary to what was described on the phone, there were actually enough key safes attached to the house - 4 safes for 4 apartments. I called around 5 times and got voicemail each time without being called back. After a quarter of an hour we finally had to leave again without having spoken to the landlord or even having received the keys. Further attempts to call (using my number were unsuccessful).
Finally we tried to call from another number. Suddenly the landlord answered and said all the apartments had been checked in. With further inquiries he said he had to look it up on the PC and would call us back, well as already suspected, of course there was no callback from his side. So we finally made our way home angry at night, because unfortunately there was a trade fair in Nuremberg and we would not have had a chance of other accommodation at such short notice. So, as already described, I would not recommend booking the apartment, in retrospect, we would have preferred to book something further outside than the Apartments Leon.
And we don't seem to be an isolated case if you look at some of the other reviews from visitors.

Einige Tage vorher angerufen, um nachzufragen, ob der Schlüssel außerhalb der Check-In Zeiten abgeholt werden kann. Antwort: Ja, von Reinigungskraft oder aus einem Schlüsselsafe.
Kurz vor Anreise angerufen um Bescheid zu geben, dass wir früher kommen und den Schlüssel von der Reinigungskraft entgegennehmen. Antwort (unfreundlich): Die Reinigungskraft spricht kein Deutsch und kann uns den Schlüssel nicht geben, alle Schlüsselsafes wären auch belegt. Wir sollen zu den Check-In Zeiten kommen. Vom Telefonat einige Tage vorher will der Herr nichts gewusst haben.
Um also den Schlüssen für die zwei gebuchten und BEREITS BEZAHLTEN Apartments zu erhalten, haben wir unsere Termine verschoben und sind zu der Wohnung gefahren. Dort angekommen war trotz Check-In Zeit (13-15 Uhr) keiner anzutreffen. Außerdem waren, anders als am Telefon beschrieben, tatsächlich genug Schlüsselsafes am Haus angebracht - 4 Safes für 4 Wohnungen. Ich rief um die 5 Mal an und bekam jedes Mal die Mailbox, ohne zurückgerufen zu werden. Nach einer Viertel Stunde mussten wir schließlich wieder los, ohne den Vermieter gesprochen zu haben oder die Schlüssel bekommen zu haben. Auch weitere Anrufversuche (unter meiner Nummer blieben erfolglos).
Schließlich haben wir versucht von einer anderen Nummer anzurufen. Da ging plötzlich der Vermieter dran und meinte alle Wohnungen seien eingecheckt worden. Bei weiteren Nachfragen meinte er er muss es am PC nachsehen und würde uns zurückrufen, tja wie schon vermutet, kam natürlich kein Rückruf von seiner Seite. So machten wir uns schließlich nachts verärgert auf den Heimweg, da leider Messe in Nürnberg war und wir keine Chance auf eine andere Unterkunft so kurzfristig gehabt hätten. Somit würde ich wie schon beschrieben nicht empfehlen die Wohnung zu buchen, im Nachhinein betrachtet, hätten wir lieber weiter außerhalb etwas gebucht, als der Apartments Leon.
Und wir scheinen in dem Fall kein Einzelfall zu sein, wenn man sich manch andere Rezensionen von Besuchern anschaut.

Plusy : Miły, dobrze wyposażony apartament - suszarka do włosów, ręczniki, dobrze wyposażony aneks kuchenny, żelasko. Świetna lokalizacja. Możliwość zaparkowania auta na parkingu, który widać z apartamentu. Możliwość pozyskania klucza do apartamentu bez angażowania właściciela. Właściciel bardzo wyrozumiały - przypaliłam kuchenką elektryczną kabel od czajnika. Właściciel nie chciał za to żadnej kaucji. Informacje o zniszczeniu skomentował słowami "alles gut"

Minusy: brak deski do prasowania, nieodkurzona podłoga w pokoju, właściciel nie mówi po angielsku, co ciut utrudnia komunikację - komunikowałam się z nim mailowo po niemiecku.

preiswert. Das Apartment ist nur etwa 5 Minuten vom Weißen Turm und damit dem Eingang der Altstadt entfernt. In der Gegend sind noch mehrere andere Hotels sowie Restaurants und Bars.

Das Apartment ist einfach mit Ikea Möbeln eingerichtet aber alles was man benötigt ist vorhanden und für ein paar Übernachtungen vollkommen ausreichend, kein Luxus aber sauber und zweckmäßig. Im Haus selber wohnen anscheinend viele Studenten, es scheinen alles Einraumwohnungen zu sein.

Der Parkplatz (muss man mit buchen) hat 3€ für eine Nacht gekostet und wir haben für das Apartment von Samstag auf Sonntag um die 55€ bezahlt.

Leider hat das WLAN Passwort nicht funktioniert , aber das kann man sicher erfragen, für eine Nacht war uns das nicht wichtig.

Wir würden hier wieder übernachten.
