We have been visiting Münster‘s and regional best Restaurants for the last 4 years almost once a week.
Usually being disappointed and driving for real good dinners to Düsseldorf, Maastricht, Bruxelles, Frankfurt, or Schloss Bensberg.
Villa Medici is the only Restaurant in the region of Münsterland which can be placed on par with very good Michelin Star restaurants.
Münster does not deserve such a good restaurant. Munsteraner’s don‘t seem to appreciate the high quality of truly haut cuisine, presentation, service and ambiance. For what Villa Medici delivers, their prices, whilst not cheap, offer top value for money.
The creativity, presentation, variance, tastes and service are superior to anything in the region.
We have now been four times and hope for many more opportunities. Don’t just expect an Italian spaghetti and pasta joint!

Great food and very kind service. The asked prices definitely worth the accomplished atmosphere and variety that is offered.

The dishes themselves were not well seasoned and the portions (particularly the plaice fillet) were reminiscent of a children's plate with vegetables. The value for money was not at all. Das Restaurant lebt offensichtlich von besseren Zeiten und Bewertungen.
Der Service war zwar freundlich, aber leider nicht gut. Der zu den einzelnen Gerichten bestellte Wein kam immer zu spät. Die Speisen selbst waren nicht gut abgeschmeckt und die Portionen (insbesondere das Schollenfilet) erinnerten stark an einen Kinderteller mit Gemüse. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte überhaupt nicht. Aus meiner Sicht nicht zu empfehlen.
