Paulus-Dom is the cathedral church of the Catholic Diocese of Münster in Germany, and is dedicated to St Paul. It is counted among the most significant church buildings in Münster and, along with the City Hall, is one of the symbols of the city. The Astronomical Clock in Church. The Astronomical clock is the very best and very spiciel. Easter is the first sunday after the first moon. we can know the moons phases 6 weeks in advanced. i took photo this clock please see the clock. its wondering.

St. Paul's Cathedral is a 108 metre long structure built over a apan of 40 years in the 1200s. The entire build of this gigantic church is a typical representative of Gothic style. There are three organs here and the Astronomical clock is an attraction worth seeing.

It doesn’t catch your eye from the outside, but it is marvelous from the inside, and full of tiny yet beautiful details.

Wonderful historic Cathedral.
A lot of Paintings and Sculptures Art.
The musical sound of organ was amazing.
And it is nice to see and attend while the people do their prays.

It was much much nicer than what I expected. Cathedral is way different to what you always find inside German churches. There are amazing stained-glass windows and sculptures inside, displayed in a sort of artistic way rather than the usual boring-church-style, and together with the astronomical clock and the graveyard, it makes the cathedral a special place. If you're interested in arts and architecture, this place is a must in Münster.

On top of that, on weekends a local market takes place in the square next to the Cathedral.

The Münster Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church in Munster , under the patronage of the Apostle Paul . The Cathedral of the Diocese of Münster is one of the most important church buildings in Münster and is next to the historic town hall one of the city's landmarks. The cathedral is administered by the cathedral chapter Münster .

In a yoke between high choir and (south) ambulatory is an astronomical clock with chimes .

The clock from the years 1540 to 1542 is one of the most important monumental clocks in the German-speaking world. It is part of the so-called " family of Hanseatic clocks ", of which only the clocks in Gdansk, Rostock, Stralsund and Stendal are relatively original (the clocks of Lübeck and Wismar were destroyed in 1942 and 1945, respectively). It has a number of common characteristics with the watches of this family of watches.

The clock is also one of the few remaining counter clockwise rotating public clocks .

Very modern sermon, bridging how an ancient book can be interpreted by today's world. Even as an atheist I was able to find value in it. Plus, the choir Sint Bavo was a joy to listen to.
