We took my 81 year old Mom there as a special treat for a mother's day dinner. We were sat in a little side room as the only table that also housed the bar for the entire restaurant. We chose the 7 course menu without the wine pairing. Overall the experience was great. The Chef is really talented as every dish was beautifully presented, creative and absolutely delicious. The service was also very friendly and attentive but slow at some points. It is supposed to be a non rushed elegant experience but sitting with empty glasses or waiting over half an hour for the next course should not happen. Then there was the noise and interruptions from the bar in the room. From the dishwasher running, to cupboards being slammed and coffee beans being ground. The staff explained that the restaurant has no space etc. but if you decide to go, ask specifically for a room not in the bar room.

Had a wonderful 7-course meal at Restaurant Spitzner, fine dining which did not disappoint for our special occasion. Great food, wines, and impeccable service.

Das Essen ist erstklassig, kreativ, optimal dekoriert, frisch und schmackhaft. Kleines Minus für die gefühlte Eile im Prozess. Da könnte man den Gast ggf. fragen, ob der nächste Gang schon passend ist. Das geht doch ziemlich zack, zack. Das Dessert mit den Kreationen auf Basis von Erdbeeren “ein Traum”
