Super kids friendly. If weather is too warm or too cold for playground, this library is really the best place to spend the day in. There aren't just books and audiobooks, you can also find toys, games, music and movies.

It's really a huge library with very arranged segmentation of books. The environment here is so good. You can find Books of every type. U can just sit there on comfortable chairs and enjoy the book reading or just take it to home if You have the membership. Otherwise you have to pay a very small amount for taking some books with you at home. Not only books. You can find magazines here of your interest. U can read daily basis newspaper. A special room for reading newspaper. Also there is a Cafe inside the library u can eat and drink for giving a extra leisure to your reading. They have a huge section for DVDs as well.

My favourite place, when I was a teenager and student. Of course, back then it was still in the old premises. There was hardly a book left that I have not read then, and some twice. Libraries are such vital living spaces for the mind and soul, nurturing and supporting education and life-long learning with most dedicated librarians. In school I was fortunate enough to run the student library in my spare time in Freiherr-vom-Stein-Gymnasium. We were given quite a generous budget every year. Those were the days in the 1980-ies... The Stadtbücherei has a special place in my heart.
