Food was good. I was happy with my meatballs potatoes and cauliflower. And of course the Beer was good. Perfect amount of food, great flavors. Server was friendly. Cool pub feel.

Very nice and cozy bavarian "Wirtshaus". The beer was tasty and the Dreierlei of white sausage was extraordinary. Would go there again, anytime.

Traditional Bavarian food is delicious, the staff is polite and offering suggestions if you are not decided.

Food tastes great and is delicately prepared.

Not my first schnitzel and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the flavor.

Traditional tavern setting that is cozier and quieter than the Hofbrau Haus (which made dinner significantly more enjoyable for our party)

As an international person who’s lived in the neighborhood for ages (been in Schwabing for 8 years), I find this place brilliant.

I suspect it might have changed ownership since I’ve been here, or simply done some serious revamp to make sure it’s menu is up to the standard and expectations of guests today. But whatever it was, I appreciate the place before and after.

The food had always been authentic and tasty, the portion generous and the service full hearted. It’s not the kind of place you expect fancy staff who flirts and makes you posh drink recommendations but they are attentive, polite and hard working. And if you do something silly or extra interactive, they remember you the next time you walk by ????

My family and I have had pork knuckles, schweinsbraten, Kaspressknödel and wiener schnitzle there… we likes them all very much in terms of freshness, culinary skills and of course, tastes.

Lastly, the bartend is a cool guy that’s give you a good/fun recommendation to local schnapps and interesting liquor ????

If you are looking for authentic Bavarian place in the area, it’s worth a try.
