I have been eyeing this little Sicilian eatery since forever but the opening hours (daily until 16:00) were never working for me as I am rarely (never to be precise) in town, not working and with the restaurants but closed because of Corona. Today all the above aligned and I took a long walk to the Sicilian Trinacria. Cute little place, flat-tasting pasta and a quite grumpy lady at the counter to complement the Sicilian cliche, I suppose. The music surprised me pleasantly (rock alternative) and I would gladly go back to check out something more complicated than simple pasta, when circumstances allow again.

Small place with a small menu during the day when you can usually choose from two options. Everyday they are preparing something different.
The place is with self service, a cosy atmosphere and delicious food.

Hidden Italian gem!!
100% worth it.
Cappuccino / caffé is Italian for real, as well as Cornetto. Amazing breakfast.
Serving lunch with a daily lovely menu.
Cozy atmosphere.

First impression based on one meal - really tasty
Had the fish ragout lasagna BUT was not that warm...

This place is Fire. The Trinacria bowl is so delicious and healthy and fresh, the Arancina Ragu and the pasta is great comfort food, the fresh juice is always refreshing.

Lovely Sicilian café and grocery store. Great breakfast (try the Cornetto con crema) and excellent coffee. There's typically a small lunch menu and you can always have traditional Italian bar snacks.
