I came in with a very large tour group and was given an unfamiliar dish. I did not get to choose it, part of the package I guess. When I asked what it was, the waiter was very upset and rudely answered, “some meat, rice and some sauce “. He clearly did not want to give me more information but I had to ask if there was cheese. He gave me this crazy look and said “no, cheese doesn’t go in this dish”. Almost like I should already know that. I understand that I’m American, on a German tour but respect is universal. I did not eat the dinner provided. I forgot to mention that my dish wasn’t even finished. Other dishes were garnished with halved grape tomatoes, fried onions and parsley. When I asked if the dishes were different, he scoffed at me and barked “no, it’s fine”. I did eat the I cream bar they handed out later.
