As a South African living in Europe for a while it was a fantastic slice of home. I had the biltong plate, bunny-chow and malva pudding.

The staff is amazing and professional. The menu is well designed and contains a glossary of South African terms. The food is great. The bathrooms are clean and provide essentials for when needed(hair gel, nail file, deodorant…). There is a rich history on the wall. The interior is great reminds me of home.

Will Definitely go there again when in Munich.

First time eating in a south african restaurant and i was pleasantly suprised. First off, the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful.
They have a wide array of typical South African dishes (according to the staff) and you have plenty to chose from.
I had a lamb stew/curry in fresh bread and it was delicious. I liked my meal, it wasn’t something I was used to and I can only recommend if you want to discover a different taste.
The price was ok, 50€ per person for a aperitif, one apetiser, main meal and a digestif.

Service was amazing, food looked beautiful but tasted average. But maybe it's just my tounge. The meat dish was sweet, and after eating half of it, I felt a bit sick (too much sweetness).

As a South African visiting Munich; I found the food to be okay; but the coldness of the service takes away the true South African experience.

Keep playing #amapiano!

First time eating exotic meats. The basic platter for 2 is around 34 eur, which is nice to give you a teaser tasting. Unfortunately it is quite expensive as you might expect. Seating was a bit crowded especially for Covid times (I was basically touching the person sitting behind me). Service was good.
