Love it. Excellent food and a lovely ambiance.
The serving is excellent, the staff is doing everything to make you feel good.
The food is good in a suitable presentation. A good selection of wines as well.

Another excellent meal at Käfer! The service was attentive, but not too much. We were sat just near the open kitchen and it is great to see the level of professionalism, and of course other people's meals.

We had the autumn menu, I personally found the apple and celery soup a little too sweet it needed more acid, but my partner really enjoyed it. The Bofflamott was perfection, unctuous, sweet and sour. The meat was very tender. I highly recommend it.

I am a big Käfer fan, it is great for a special occasion, but fine food comes at a price.

Had a lovely evening here on Saturday. I'm a celiac, so my partner called in advance to make sure gluten-free options were available. The food was absolutely delicious - quite posh but down-to-earth. Portions were sizeable. I had the lobster followed by the ox cheeks. The latter were initially served with battered fried potatoes, which the very courteous and attentive waitress luckily switched for celery puree just before I started to eat. Unfortunately, something I ate still must have contained gluten or been cross-contaminated; I experienced the typical reaction after dinner and over the course of the following days. This is quite hard to avoid completely, though, and sometimes just happens. Thoroughly enjoyed dining here nonetheless and wholeheartedly recommend this place for a special evening.
