Unexpectedly awesome. Been here a few times now also with guests and every single dish was outstanding. One of my favorites is the Angus burger. Absolutely prefect, in every way. It tastes brilliant without loads of sauce, often used to pep up bland/inferior ingredients. This burger is pure, unadulterated burger heaven. Juicy, tasty and natural tasting, just like it should be. But the Schweinsbraten was also spectacular and the salads are refined and fresh but still very satisfying. The cook clearly knows and loves what he / she does. The place itself is incredibly cozy and fun, like your living room with a bunch of folks visiting. A great selection of specially curated local (craft) beer is available too, with great recommendations by the servers. Malzraum is good enough to be a planned destination. Go here, it's worth it.
