Best location for Indian restaurant in the heart of the city ! Staff is really kind, Makes you feel home. Dishes served served quickly without delay. Quantity is enough for many, Tasty and authentic Indian food served. Best option for delicious Indian food in the city of munchen! Good and affordable rates. Staff can speak in German,English,Hindi and Punjabi. Lucky to be there ! Menu available also in German.

The interior is nice and cosy, just what you would expect from an Indian place in Munich. The servant was decent and friendly and remembered our orders by heart. She noticed our empty rice bowl before we had to ask for more. Food took quite long, about 40 min after we came in. I was a little surprised by the Chicken Tikka Masala which was not the way we are used to from other Indian places (the chicken was the yellow one). This didn't bother us though as it tasted nice. :-)
All in all I would give four stars for the experience, one is lost by the waiting. If you don't mind that you can definitely give it a go!

We would rate this place with 3,5 stars. We ordered and they delivered in the time frame they said it would be delivered. Delivery guy was super nice. The food itself is very decent. Big portion of naan. The butter chicken was good. We did not enjoy the appetizer too much but it was ok. All in all it’s a decent place to order from.

Samrat is a well located restaurant serving very satisfying food. I love their Lamb dishes, most recently Lamb Karahi. Well done Samrat!! Please maintain this standard and stay consistent.

Very nice food and friendly owners. They are always open to customer feedback and improvements. Also, they customise food according to your taste. Kadhai paneer and dal makahni are really good, however breads can be a bit thinner. Highly recommended!

There are a lot of Indian restaurants in Munich and I have tried most of them and I have to say the Chicken Tikka at this restaurant was the BEST!! The service was good as well! I highly recommend this restaurant.
