Solid 3 star hotel with a better than expected breakfast. Rooms were serviceable. Pillows uncomfortable and rooms quite hot, but was cheap, in a good location and had a good shower!

small old fashioned urban hotel .very old looking inside and small but was good for us for 2 nights .lovely staff and rooms clean .A good continental breakfast. 15 mins walk into central train station .plenty of taxis around if you don't want to walk .A great pizza and kebab shop over the road which was awesum .would j go back again maybe not based on where it is .May suit some people who want quiet though .100percent did us for 2 nights though

We cancelled a stay in a chain hotel further away from the centre in favour of Hotel Westend because of the location. München can be quite expensive but this hotel does have the good balance of reasonable price and isn't too far from the centre, just a few stops with tram (5 min walk to tram). Plenty of shops and eateries nearby, also the Augustiner brewery with its Beerhall. Think it's also quite convenient location for the Octoberfest ????
The rooms were clean, staff very friendly. The free coffee was a great treat! No Aircon, but we knew it beforehand.. We got a fan from the reception which helped a little.
We would definitely stay again!

100€/night for a sauna. No aircondition at all and turkish bar downstairs play music till 24.00 so Windows cant leave open for some air..Bed ok. Pillow not. Toilet is also leaking and carpet on the aisle of the floor is cowered on some protection carpet? Mayby original carpet is broken.on water damage?

Rooms are good and they have a very nice breakfast which is actually also very cheap.

We booked through booking and unfortunately we couldn't arrive there due to Corona restrictions. It's our fault.
However, we have requested if we could get the free cancellation, but there was no respond from the hotel. No communication and flexibility at all.
It's really unprofessional how a hotel doesn't reply to customers. This point has to be noted for future reference. Thank you

The room is decent for the price (60eur for 2 people), however the heating was not working and despite the reception/room service were present and responsive, they could not fix it. The place was quite clean and it was quite a warm day so we managed to stay the night, however it it was in winter i can imagine the stay would not be pleasant at all.
