The hotel was very clean. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the parking lot was very convenient. My overall experience at this hotel was wonderful and I would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and cozy. Everyone was kind and extremely helpful. The breakfast was well worth the extra charge and served in a beautiful, sunny room. Parking was easy and the location was quiet while still convenient to Munich. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, away from the chaos of downtown but only a 20min train ride to the city center. Lovely shops and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff who were able to helps us with our lack of German. Beautiful clean rooms!

Good old country charm! Breakfast was an additional 8€ each but well worth it! Front desk clerk was very helpful, provided maps for Munich attractions and transportation directions to and from the hotel.

I had a great experience at Hotel Grünwald. Rooms were ultra clean, conveniently located to Train station and to nice small restaurants in town. Front staff is very friendly and helpful, too. I am looking forward to come back.

What a nice place to stay. We booked multiple rooms for a family get-together in Munich, and from the early request for rooms the staff at the hotel (including the owners) were extremely friendly and helpful. Booking was easy, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. On day 1, we arrived early in Munich from Australia, and reception was very welcoming and allowed us to go into our room straight away to take a rest after the long trip. The room was nice, large and very clean, with a beautiful modern bathroom. Room service and breakfast service was also outstanding (which definitely can be very different in Munich), and the quality of breakfast provided was fantastic. Aubing is a very charming little suburbian village with good infrastructure (shops, pharmacy, post office, pubs). Two bus lines depart opposite the hotel, and the nearest train station (S4 Aubing) is 10 walking minutes (ca. 600m) away from the hotel. The train takes about 20 minutes to the city center and most of the day departs every 20 minutes.
Many thanks to everybody at Hotel Gruenwald who made our 4 night stay so very pleasant. Definitely very recommendable, we’ll be back.
