Highly recommend for a spectacular view of Munich. You can buy drinks and snacks to take on board at the kiosk there (but note - you can't byo). I would have enjoyed it more if there was some information in the carts about what sights to look out for on the ride (and where to look). I know the industrial surroundings are currently going through an interesting revamp project, including some rooftop gardening. There was a small screen on the side of the cart with a bit of info, but the slides moved too fast to figure out where things were.

One of my favorite experiences in Munich so far. The staff is really friendly and accomodating.

Tickets are 12 euros for grownups; less for seniors, students and families

There is a bartable and a few chairs

The roundtrip is about 30 minutes long

One of the buildings around has a little farm on the roof with animals and chickens

Absolutely recommend it!!!

View was breathtaking during sunset, it doesn’t take too long it’s just a 30 minute round, there wasn’t any waiting time to get in the capsule, and lastly you’re able to get drinks with you on board from the Ferris’s coffee shop

A ride on the Umadum on a less crowded weekday is one thing you don't wanna miss when you are in Munich.Take a sip of beer and enjoy the view, on a broad sunlight or at night, equally mesmerizing.

Huge recommendation! We‘ve been here twice and both times it was such a wonderful event, that I just have to leave a glowing review now. The staff is outstanding, every person working there is in a good mood, cheery, friendly and just so nice, it deserves a special thank you. The view is spectacular, whether you‘re going during the day or in the evening. And the prices are really fair for the experience you get! We are 100% happy customers and highly recommend everyone and anyone to go for a ride at least once :)

If you consider the price of the Eye, you’d be a little surprised at the much more affordable Munich version. But it’s well worth it.

Inside the cabins is a table and four bar stools. Given the time this one takes, it’s a safe bet that you can have a leisurely beer while looking out over Munich.

I highly recommend two tours, one during the day and one at night. The latter has a much different quality to it.

You can bring your own drinks and during SARS-CoV-2 every cabin is being wiped down between visitors (great!).

If you’re in Munich, go there. It’s a five minute stroll from the München Ost train station, and you can’t miss it.

First, it is much fun and the view from above is very nice. The prices are very reasonable, especially compared for example to London Eye. On the other hand it is not a very special thing and it is not perfectly located: directly beside Hi Sky there is a big house and this one limits the view over Munich, and second it is not located in the city center, so you have to go there with a taxi or public transportation. Summarized, I can recommend Hi Sky, but it is not a "must go there" when you come to Munich.
