First off, the food. My partner and I had been craving something savory that wasn't a giant hunk of meat, and this place delivered. Their pastrami on croissant was so well-constructed: shaved pastrami with a crunch of arugula and a high quality mustard added some welcomed acid and even lingering heat!
The decor of the shop and the food was so different from what we've experienced in Munich so far, so we struck up a conversation with the owners. It immediately became clear that they're extremely passionate about the food they make, and everything down to the choice how slicing their pastrami was done intentionally after visiting famous pastrami shops in the UK and New York.
I promised I'd write them a review because frankly more food like this needs to exist in Germany. They're trying to do something different and everything about visiting this shop reflects that intention, check it out and get some amazing sandwiches and pastries!
