Great food and great coffee. Service was super slow on a Sunday. It is self service, but they bring the coffee. In our case they forgot about two drinks. Also no card payment possible (apparently only German EC cards).

The place is unique. Very well done, with a nice exotic touch. The breakfast was well served and tasty. The downside came at the moment of paying. The waitress was super stressed about us paying with card. It made us feel like we were not welcome anymore. Probably she didn't know how to use the machine. But that's not the customer's fault. We ended up paying more than 30 euros with spare change since we do not carry cash..

The coffee and ambiance is great at kolonial but the staff are what make this place what it is. I didn’t get the baristas name but he was so incredibly kind to me last week when I visited. I will certainly be back whenever I am next in Munich. Note that this place takes cash only !

It's a great place to have breakfast or a tea break. Good quality products and wide offer. The service professional but not very friendly. You will have to pay with cash because they don't know how to use the card payment system.

Came here for breakfast. Cappuccino was amazing. Tasty croissants, but when you eat it everything becomes messy bcs of crumbs. Very cosy, works early in the morning. There are another options for breakfast as well. Little bit expensive for me. Stuff is very friendly and English speaking, but no menu in English. Be aware: very hard to pay by card.

My favorite neighborhood cafe! Walking in here is like stepping back 80 years in time, every detail is superbly historical, the clientele seems mostly to be local regulars, reading newspapers while sipping their lattes. I tried their onion quiche too and it was excellent. The service was very friendly too, really a place to call your home away from home! PS they have wifi!
