Failed to impress me. Simple as that.
It's not a bad restaurant, far from it. It's exquisite, dishes are beautifully presented and well prepared. In a place like this, though, you expect to be impressed, to find that little something that will hit your palate just the right way. I personally couldn't find it here like I could in similar places.
Other than that, though, no complaints. You get a normal à la carte menu or you can also have the summer 5 course menu (with or without wine matching) for a fixed price, which is what I ended up ordering.
My favorite course ended up being the zucchini blossom, and the main fish course was the less good imo.
Service is as one would expect in these restaurants, discrete when not needed and very helpful otherwise, providing dish and ingredient explanations.
At 130 for the 5-course menu, it's a bit cheaper than similar restaurants, but of course not cheap. I still enjoyed dining here, and it was a pleasant experience overall.
