Love this gym. Great equipment, nice team, beautiful changing rooms and free fully - automated coffee machine beverages and ceareal and orange juice from 7-9 and free prosecco at 6pm! :D
New Review:
Venice Beach excluded all the cute amenities that made this gym special. One can really sense how the small, mom'n'pop feeling died, and how it's now corporate and no longer unique and individualized. Too bad.

Ich bin seit einem Jahr in den Studio und sehr zufrieden und kann die schlechten Bewertungen nicht wirklich nachvollziehen.
Das Studio ist meistens relativ leer (wenn man nicht grade zur absoluten Stoßzeit unbedingt unten in den Pumperraum will). Im Vergleich zu anderen Mannheimer Fitnessstudios ist es deutlich schöner eingerichtet und hat eine gute Geräteaustattung. Das Personal ist relativ freundlich und das Fitnesstudio immer sauber. Im Frauenbereich sind die duschen neu renoviert und auch die Umkleiden völlig in Ordnung. Klar zahlt man hier da es ein premium Venice ist auch etwas mehr aber es lohnt sich.

Nur 4 Sterne da leider die Verwaltung des Fitnessstudios unkooperativ ist was das pausieren von Mitgliedschaften angeht wenn man beruflich nicht in mannheim ist für eine längere Zeit.

- Music volume often rivals that of the Love Parade.
- Opening hours on Saturday very short. From 20:00 there is a shift in the pit.
- Important training devices such as negative bench press or neck trainer are missing.
- There is extremely nasty air circulation in the free weights cellar. Circuits are pre-programmed here.
- Some training devices are long past their best (broken upholstery, worn out devices, missing handles).
- Almost every time all the windows are closed here half an hour before the end of training. Fresh air is apparently overrated here.

Update: Einige Gerätepolsterungen wurden nun ausgetauscht und es gibt Desinfektionsstoff auf allen Ebenen. Dafür gibt es einen Stern mehr und fetten Respekt.

Das Studio ist nur noch die reinste Katastrophe. Seit mehreren Monaten sind immer noch viele Gerätepolsterung zerstört und wurden trotz Hinweis beim Studiopersonal immer noch nicht repariert. Das Problem dabei ist, das sich bei hohem Gewicht die Kanten von den zerstörten Polsterungen stark in die Haut drücken, was extrem hardcore unangenehm ist.

Ich würde keinem mehr dieses Studio empfehlen. Da gibt es für den Preis bei weitem bessere Studios in der Nähe.

Vorteile:
- Große Trainingsflächen.
- Box/Punching-Möglichkeiten.
- Man kann zwischen 2 Fitness-Gyms switchen.

Nachteile:
- Chemisch/Gummiartiger Geruch im mittleren Trainingsbereich.
- Die Musiklautstärke konkurriert oft mit dem der Love-Parade.

- Fast jedes mal werden hier eine halbe Stunde vor Trainingsende alle Fenster geschlossen. Frische Luft ist hier anscheinend überbewertet.
- Abschließfächer sind schlecht abgesichert. Zahlenkombination (leicht von den Seiten einsehbar) anstatt Schlösser oder Kartensysteme.
- Personal öffnet (zur Kontrolle) gegen Ende mit einem Generalschlüssel die Fächer. Dabei wurde mein Fach schon 2x nicht wieder zugemacht. Tipp: Kontrolle machen wenn niemand mehr im Gym ist.
