I‘ve been in Mosch Mosch Heidelberg but not in this one, but they‘re both just apparently the same????

Served quite quick because prolly nobody was there.
Not really amazed by their foods, they were all average. Portion is big yes, but its nothing outstanding when the taste isn‘t that great.
Got Udon with Schnitzel (7,7/10) and my friend got some rice with tofu (7,5/10) forgot what its name????, gyoza was the best one out of all (8,5/10).

Nice place to chill and enjoy Japanese food.
The taste is very good.

If you are hungry want your dish quick then avoid this restaurant when 1/3rd filled Seem to be slow.

Tl,dr: Service is always great! Fantastic variety for vegitarians. The taste of dishes on the menu varies a lot... the menu is vaguely asian inspired; not japanese :(

Long version: The curries (e.g. "Katsu Kare Don") are a bowl of rice served with roughly cut, BIG chunks of vegetables and sauce. They taste VERY good and I almost always return to ordering them. I recommend stirring everything up and letting the ingredients soak in the sauce. (It's a mystery to me why they no longer mix it in the kitchen! The bowl of rice looks pretty but the tastd suffers!!!)
The "Yakuidon" is very tasty as well. I am not a fan of the fried rice "Cha Han", it tasted too burnt to me. I didn't even finish it! Do not add on shrimp to a dish, it's just not worth the price.
The ramen is not good... Most ramen are extremely plain, boring and bland - the exception is "Glücksgefühle" which includes Kim Chi. That one was great. All other menu items are SO much better so I don't even bother to look at the ramen menu anymore.
The entrees are very good, but priced very high... I recommend sharing them.
The banana and macha desserts are GREAT. Highly recommend. The cheese cake is pitiful for the price...

MoschMosch is a decent restaurant chain. If you know the menu, you know which items are worth ordering and taste good to you. I've been there MANY times in the span of multiple years and return for the curries.

I usually really like this place. Menu is great and the food really tasty and fresh. Service was not so good last time. Very slow and we waited almost an hour for our food. When our glasses were empty no one seemed to care, not even when our dishes were taken away. We left and went for drinks somewhere else.

It was quite a disappointing experience for me eating there personally. The food was not bad but had little resemblance to what the actual dishes are supposed to be. We had a Salmon Poke bowl with no raw salmon and fried rice with just too much vegetables in it. Also think they should reconsider leaving bottles of sauces and cutleries out on the tables during times of pandemic. The place was nice to sit at, spacious and outdoor. Staff was nice.
