Amusingly enough, my favourite supermarket chain to shop at when I am in Germany. Great quality (really!) at great prices ???? other places (edeka, rewe) have a wider selection but you can't beat Aldi for value!

Friendly local ALDI. Due to ALDI quality, I buy bio milk, bio eggs, vanilla yogurt, lachs, shrimp and steak here regularly. Since the REWE is right next door, I can finish up my brand name product shopping in one run.

p.s. The strong air conditioning at this ALDI is reason enough to shop here in the hot summer months.
