This is a most excellent indian dining experience nestled right beside The Heiligan Geist historic Hospital. I have been here many times now and have never been disappointed in the presentation and quality of food. My favourite dish is Tandoori Lamb Tikka. Although very flavourful, Lamb tikka is very dry and requires a masala or patia sauce to be served with it. The restaurant doesn't seem to understand this and offers no sauce at all. I have made this request before on my many visits. I even offered to buy an extra sauce to no avail and was dependent on my friends sharing their sauces from their chosen dishes. This apart Taj Mahal, has excellent service with friendly staff i have been visiting for over 20 years and would recommend it to anyone.

We ordered chicken vindaloo, malai kofta, and Mango lassi... One portion is enough for one person. The taste is absolutely delicious. The service is also great and the hosts greet you graciously and make pleasant talk. Surely, a great experience and a good place to grab some Indian food in Lübeck.

The food was worst not at all worth it
This is not called as Indian food.
No proper usage of spices and the paneer did not even taste like Paneer.
We asked them to make it a bit spicy but they give spicy sauce to add which is not how spicyness works in Indian food.
We ordered Fish Biryani which did not have atleast 3% of a typical Biryani taste which is a sad truth.
Service was the only thing that was good.

Definitely make a reservation! Friday and Saturday are extremely busy after seven. But the food is good, the Chicken Tikka is to die for!

This is the place to go to for good good indian food.
We had the Lamb Curry, Palak Paneer, Naan, and Gemüse pakora, not one bite disappointed. The meat was tender, the curries/gravy was fresh and flavorful, and the pakoras were the best I've had since coming to Germany.
They also gave us 4 chutneys which I would bet were in house made.

We'll for sure be returning.

Not Indian food at all. Worst Indian food ever had in my life. Traumatized Please do not go. Go to other indian restaurants.
Cold ..no proportion of spices..filled wkth artificial flavours and old chicken

A really cozy place to stay and the food is so so tasty! Never ate better Indian then here!
