Very popular restaurant in the middle of Lübeck's tourist area. Excellent service, really good beer and fantastic food, as well as a very interesting decor. Probably a good idea to make a reservation if you're coming at night!

A very disappointing experience. The restaurant is expensive, which is not an issue on its own. But the management doesnt take responsibility, if the quality of the food is dissatisfactory. We ordered a steak, which was obviously overcooked. But instead of trying to solve the issue, we were forced to pay for the overcooked food. Very sad to see the quality of service and food having deteriorated so much. I cannot recommend going there anymore. Kind of a lottery now. Either you are lucky to get good food, or you get an overcooked steak and have to pay for it.

I don’t even need to write much here. In our opinion this is simply the best restaurant in Lübeck! You will get fantastic traditional food in this place with hundreds of years of history. The staff is attentive, friendly and highly professional. We totally love it!
