Absolutely delicious selection of marcipan. Not too expensive, either, compared to the competition. I ended up eating so much cake and sweets that I felt kinda sick, haha. It was too good!

If there is one place in the world you should go. to taste and buy marzipan and chocolate: this is the place. Niederegger‘s success story started more than 200 years ago. And there is a reason for that: These people are artists at creating delicious sweets - in amazing designs.

Why there are no vegan options??? Other brands they make vegan marzipan with chocolate.

The saleswoman was very helpful and spoke excellent English which is good for me as I do not speak German. This company is one of the original marzipan producers and makes a very high quality product that is far less sweet then I am used to.

Niederegger is well-known throughout Germany for its marzipan products. If you’re a tourist in Hamburg, why not spend half a day in Lübeck (which is only an hour away) and visit the Niederegger store. They sell all manner of marzipan products, including ice cream (of the cone kind – I’m not sure if they also sell tubs). It’s a great place for getting tasty treats to bring back to your family and friends.

A nice selection of Niederegger products. A very helpful saleslady helped and gave us advice.

Very tasty marzipan, a bit expensive but it's for the best
