What can I say: It is a fantastic journey through time and of course a kind of culinary highlight. Chatting about old times, cultivated Pils - and if you like eating currywurst and Waltraut still has the kitchen open, you can still enjoy the best currywurst far and wide here. I was hungry and I was lucky: great sausage from a real butcher, delicious sauce and all of it really lovingly prepared and served! This is on the agenda for every HL visit from now on. Thanks for a nice evening and see you soon!

(What I found remarkable, by the way: Despite the late hour, meticulous attention was paid to corona measures. Without a scanned vaccination certificate, you are not even allowed to set foot in it. What may seem fussy to some, I thought was great!)

Neulich war ich das erste Mal seit gefühlten (und wohl auch real) zig Jahren wieder mal im Lemmys - zufällig am späten Abend reingeschneit.

Was soll ich sagen: Es ist eine fantastische Zeitreise und natürlich auch so eine Art kulinarischer Höhepunkt. Plaudern über alte Zeiten, gepflegtes Pils - und wenn man gerne Currywurst isst und Waltraut die Küche noch auf hat, kommt man hier immer noch in den Genuss der besten Currywurst weit und breit. Ich hatte Hunger und ich hatte Glück: Tolle Wurst vom echten Metzger, leckere Sosse und das ganze wirklich liebevoll zubereitet und angerichtet! Das steht ab jetzt wieder bei jedem HL-Besuch auf dem Plan. Danke für einen netten Abend und bis bald!

(Was ich übrigens beachtlich fand: Trotz später Stunde wurde penibel auf Corona-Maßnahmen geachtet. Ohne gescannten Impfnachweis darf man nicht mal einen Fuß reinsetzen. Was auf manche vielleicht pingelig wirkt, fand ich große Klasse!)
