Lovely hotel that is in fact better than how it presents itself online. Location is perfect. Rooms spacious. Simply furnished by everything one could possibly need. The back garden, the cat, the artwork... all adds to a unique experience. Breakfast is exceptional.

It's the right hotel at the right place in Lübeck. Colourful, cosy and clean. Once you enter your room, you'll feel at home. Every room has a warm, colourful design which is not overdone: it just fits and is in perfect harmony with the building, the street and the inner part of Lübeck.

The mattress and pillows are very good, clean and of an excellent quality.

Breakfast is good with a wide variety to choose from. They even offer gluten free bread and lactose free diary as well as different styles of prepared eggs.

Internet connection is free, stable and offers sufficient speed.

The location of the hotel is right at the beginning of the inner city. You can explore the center of Lübeck without using your car. But most of all, their staff is very, very friendly. You'll feel more than welcome at this hotel.

No negative remarks for us, but be aware of the following facts:

You'll have to climb stairs, because it is an historical building with no space for an elevator.

The rooms have no airconditioning. During normal summers, using the curtains and blinds wisely, should be sufficient to keep the room climate at a comfortable level.

Relaxing hotel. Nice location to centrum. You get what you pay for no more, no less. Clean and quiret.

Very comfortable and very clean room. Amazing choice at breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only minus is lack of a lift - we were on third floor.

Very good experience. Felt very welcome, good service and excellent breakfast, in a comfy and cosy enviroment, with varm colours. Excellent rooms, with a nice view over the park and lake.
