Great town site. Close to bus route. Very busy but didn't feel too crowded.

The 'camping' doesn't accept tents. All kinds of different reasons why we couldn’t camp came up when we arrived: 'no reservation', 'no capacity', 'we don't accept tents'. Turns out this is very well hidden on the website (for some covid-19 related reason, while all other campings we visited in Germany handled this very well), instead of shown clearly since it was changed very recently.
So for bike-travellers or backpackers not possible to stay and visit Lübeck.

This is a very well organised spotless campsite. The pitches are quite small but manageable. The meadow area for tents etc is lovely by a pond looking out over green space. Easy bus ride into town for a night out. We loved it here. The owner and staff out a lot of work in to make it a good city site.

This is a perfect smaller camp site just around the corner from autobahn and the city center of Lübeck. We stay here every year for a night or two. In my opinion this campsite are very quiet and well kept. But remember in the peak summer season a reservation is almost a must if you arrive with caravan or mobile home.

This was a great campsite within easy distance of Lübeck. Lovely grassy pitches and incredibly organised in terms of siting your van. Good sanitary facilities, .50 for a shower with plenty of hot water for 5 minutes. 3 Euros for laundry - it would be great to have a washing line for those in tents/vans that can’t rig up a line, there’s an ideal place to put one right by the laundry but no site we have visited in Europe has this, perhaps this could be the first! The lady at the office spoke perfect English and was very helpful. There is a small shop selling basics at very reasonable prices. Only downside was you had to go near the office to get wifi which was free and very good. A great site, thoroughly recommend it.

From what we could gather mainly used by people passing through - transit camp is appropriate.
Very very few Germans - maybe they know better.
This place has no redeeming features - crowded, sitting almost on your neighbours with no fences or hedges and COLD showers.
