The coffee is good and the desserts too. Very yummy and great taste. The man from the staff who did the service outside was so nice, the lady quite rude ????

There are many good cafes on Travemunde Strand. They can all be busy cos there are so many tourists. Of them all Niederegger is a bit special for me. It has a prime position on the strand for people watching and looking at the passing river traffic including the huge scandinavian ferries. Also at Niederegger they have superb englischer Fruhstuck( breakfast) with lovely scrambled eggs, bacon and toast, orange juice , marmalade. Not to big just right for around 11 euros which is great for the quality of the whole experience. The pictures show how good it all is on the lovely pavement terrace facing the Trave. Thoroughly recommended.

The place with beautiful view on the river/bay/harbour. Cakes are very good. Good place to drink a coffee. On Saturday afternoon it can be little crowded. The unusual for me was that when you would like order cakes you ussually need to go downstairs, choose them, take the leaflet, and finally give it to the waiter/waitress.

Very delicious Lübecker Marzipantorte. Staff is friendly. Prices are affordable. Worth checking out!

Niederegger Marzipan shop with attached cafe, the only one beside the Lübecker original. The choice of cakes is amazing, but somehow I return always to the original Marzipantorte, the one and only. It's creamy and heavy, with a thick layer of Marzipan on the outside, good idea to share one!
