Really crazy combination of being a really good Thai food restaurant, but with the looks of a classical German rural area/southern franconian interior and exterior.

The chef is from Thailand (the wife of the owner). The owner is a really funny and nice guy, he is one of a kind and behaves originally like the people in the area. Very welcoming and always up for a joke and a liquor.

Our food was really good, with fresh veggies and ingredients, just delicious. However, I had the crispy duck and the duck was not that crispy and submerged in the curry sauce - the other dishes where just perfect.

As they prepare everything fresh, you can ask them to alter the recipes, and therefore also get a vegetarian dish, or probably even vegan.

Lots of parking spots outside!

Auf Grund der sehr guten Bewertungen haben wir das "Thailändische Restaurant " aufgesucht. Ich war 5 mal in Thailand und frage mich wer diese Bewertungen geschrieben hat denn mit Thai-Küche hat das hier wenig bis gar nichts zu tun. 18 Uhr waren 3 Gäste da und Personal 2 junge Leute m/w die beiden stellten sich als sehr Verliebte Gastgeber heraus und neben Austausch von Zärtlichkeit wurde am Handy gespielt. Die Tische sollten dringend gereinigt werden denn Hände auflegen war nicht möglich sie hätten fest geklebt. Das "Thailändische Essen " war eine einzige Katastrophe und mit Thai Küche hatte das überhaupt nichts zu tun. Zusammen mit uns verspeiste dann die Bedingung (w) auch gleich in der Gaststätte ihr Abendessen. Ich kann diese Gaststätte unter keinen Umständen weiter empfehlen.

ACHTUNG Besitzerwechsel!
Lokal nicht mehr empfehlenswert, Preise wurden erhöht und es gibt keine geregelten Öffnungszeiten mehr. Waren schon mehrfach vor verschlossener Tür gestanden obwohl laut Türschild offen sein sollte.
Fazit nach diesem Besitzerwechsel hat das Räucherstübla für mich ausgeräuchert. Schade.

Hätten wir nicht von Bekannten erfahren, dass es hier thailändische Küche gibt wären wir sicher vorbei gefahren. Von außen sieht die Gaststätte aus wie eine ganz normale fränkische Gaststätte und auch der Namen "Räucherstübla" lässt fränkische Küche vermuten. Auch innen oder im Garten keine typischen asiatischen Verzierungen.

Nichtsdestotrotz gab es nun thailändische Küche und sie schmeckte auch sehr lecker. Meine Frau hatte Garnelen und und ich Ente. Beides wirklich sehr lecker.

In Sachen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis eine feine Sache. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder. Leider haben wir vergessen Bilder zu machen, vielleicht beim nächsten Mal ????

Es wurde obwohl der Tisch reserviert war noch eine Bestellung entgengenommen wartezeit Nachtisch von einer Wartezeit bis zu 45min. Warum um dann die Gäste auch noch zu beschimpfen ? Dann wollten wir Zahlen provokativ liess man uns noch mal 30min warten. Also das ganze ist doch ein Witz .
Unmöglich nie wieder und Räucherstüvla Lichtenfels nicht zu empfehlen.
