PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!

By far the worst hotel I have ever bin too. I don't even know what to call this place,
hotel is too good of name.

GRUESOME ACT.

Nothing in the rooms to make a cup of tea or coffee not even a bottle of water, No fridge at all. frozen food for dinner, you have to serve your self if you want alcohol.

WHERE IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!

Not to mention breakingfast ((OMG))
just for get It???? frozen food again
cheese, and salami, No fruits and No other options.

Oh and lets not forget, if you want to smoke the light will turn off on you at 11pm and you will be told to go to bed because they have other events the next day.

We booked 3 nights in the hotel with a voucher. Upon arrival, the reception declined any reservation. When we showed our booking confirmation, we were treated extremely unfriendly and were suggested to go somewhere else since the hotel wouldn’t make sufficient money with these vouchers. Given the unfriendliness of the staff, it was out of question for us to stay a single night in this place and we indeed went to the next hotel with much friendlier staff. Given the rude attitude of the staff I don’t recommend Hotel Zur Igelstadt.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Zur Igelstadt. The hotel was magnificently decorated and full of warm u0026 welcoming people at the time of Christmas u0026 St Sylvester. We experienced the best of German traiditions and the authentic German cuisine in the hand of Chef Daniel. The hotel is located in the Edersee Kellerwald region - a must visit region of Germany. We were blessed by the weather and fully enjoyed the walks u0026 the road trips in this picturesque area of Germany. We would definitely recommend a stay at Hotel Zur Igelstadt!

Breakfast was very good and there is nothing to complain about the dinner either.

Nach anfänglichen Missverständnissen und Diskussionen war es rund herum gesehen ein toller Aufenthalt. Lage ist für wanderfreudige ideal und man ist zentral gelegen zu den verschiedensten Ausflugszielen.
Frühstück war sehr gut und auch über das Abendessen gibt es nichts zu meckern.
Auch die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kann da manche Kommentare nicht so ganz nachvollziehen. Zimmer war sauber und gut geschlafen haben wir auch.
Was will man mehr.
