It’s such a shame that they started arbitrarily enforcing regulation against people using the outdoor spaces. I used to love running on the outdoor track, but the recent harassment from self proclaimed Uni officials has been very disappointing. In a time when nobody else is using the space and indoor gyms are closed, one would think the Uni Leipzig would support people trying to stay both mentally and physically fit instead of running us off like unwanted vermin. I, along with many others in Leipzig, have supported the sports program at Uni Leipzig when the government earlier attempted to cut funds. I value sport and will always support sport organizations. I wish that Uni Leipzig would also support us in times of national crisis. What a shame.
