Friendly staff. The story of the Schumann couple, as recounted by the museum, is moving. Great range of Schumann music to listen to. The building seems to be shared with a school.

Nice but small exhibit on one floor (second floor) dedicated to the Schumanns, Robert and Clara. This museum is interestingly embedded within a school building, so don't be confused when entering. Not all of the exhibit features are bilingual (some require you to use a QR code and device to see English translations) so if you don't read/speak German, you may be at a slight disadvantage. There seemed to be an emphasis on Clara (which is nice) but some more info about Robert's depression and end of life would have been nice, but maybe this is deemed too negative.

Interesting but, without knowing German well, you miss a lot. They provide you pamphlets in various languages but they don't offer the same level of detail.

Interesting place, a bit out of the centre but walkable. The music room was really good fun - spent ages messing about! Some of the info was translated and some not - there is a barcode scan sticker on a few exhibits to translate in to English and the curator was helpful.

It was great to visit the place where Schumann lived. However, exhibits are a little small compared to the Mendelssohn house in the same city.

Consists of only three rooms in their former apartment. But the exhibits are nice and it tells their story which I was not familiar with.
