Unfortunately a hard task in daily life: Find a *good* Bakery. And if I say "Bakery", then I speak about a real one, not one of the fast food like shops, which just warm up instant food.

The "Naturbackstube" (real handmake / traditional bakery) is one of these shops. Very good buns, bread and more..

This is your neighborhood organic bakery. Choice can be rather limited sometimes. Taste is good but not on a gourmet bakery level. Anyhow, it will cater to your daily needs just fine (check opening hours though).

A unique bakery which is very refreshing in Leipzig. Products are made with a variety of grains and there is a selection for customers with dietary restrictions. Good coffee, nice desserts. Unfortunately not the greatest place to dine in, very little space.
Go early, they do sell out!

Eine sehr gute Bäckerei, die wir vor Jahren einmal gefunden haben und seither nur hier die Schokobrötchen kaufen. :)
Auch alle anderen Backwaren sind wirklich super, aber die Schokobrötchen sind am Besten. :)
