Unfortunately, we had one of the worst experience of eating Indian food in Germany today. Nothing in fact nothing tasted good…we spent 55 euros and it was total waste of money. We were shocked to see the butter nan ordered by us and it was super expensive. Moreover, the food came super late…45 minutes to get a meal which tasted nothing like Indian. Sorry but I am super disappointed.

Overall I had a very bad experience with this restaurant. Initially food is too expensive. I ordered chicken curry which costs me 15.90euro which is again too spicy. Another thing I noticed with this restaurant is that they behave very nicely with German customers and they literally don’t have any respect for Indians. Indian restaurant opened for Europeans. Lastly they don’t have electronic payments option. Cash payment only.

Bad experience. Food is too expensive and not as good as in other Indian places in Leipzig. Terrible service all around. It was a quiet night and I waited half an hour for my food. Skip this one and go to the Indian Crown, at Reichsstraße 15

I've been here twice now, and the only really good thing I can say about it is when you ask for really spicy food, they'll give it to you. But considering the otherwise lacklustre service and no way to pay cashless (imagine going out with a few people and needing to pay a large amount for the bill - it can only be in cash!), I'm not sure I feel motivated to return. It's one of the more expensive Indian restaurants in Leipzig as well, but you don't get anything special for your troubles. Given that there's so many others that are not only better, a little cheaper and with better service, why would I come back here?

I like the food but it's highly price .
A chicken tikka with naan( not actually a naan as it is flatbrot which can be found in any German supermarket) costs 16.40€.
And a drink (l don't alike beer with food ;) 400ml Fanta is 4€.
So, 20.40€ for one person is expensive for me.

Awesome Indian food in Germany! since we are un Germany, it is difficult for indian restaurant owners to suit the spice to everyone's taste. But at this place, it was done perfectly for all 14 people from different countries and different regions of India. The host was friendly. The waiter was friendly too. It did take some time for the food to arrive, but when you taste the food, the waiting for 15 minutes is completely worth it!!! Thank you!
