Overall rating: Great
Nationality: Spanish cuisine ????????
Location: Karl-Heine-Straße (in the hipster-like neighborhood of Plagwitz in the west of Leipzig)
Staff: friendly and fast (helped us with the menu)
Ordering: You don’t just order food, but have to go to the desk and order different „Tapas“, which are small servings of different Spanish dishes. One Tapa costs 4 Euros and 5-6 Tapas are sufficient for two persons. Bread and Aioli will be served without charge.
Recommended dishes:
-Pastel de Nata (actually Portuguese and not Spanish, but was still great)
-Chicken mit garlic and a cheese sauce (OMG so incredibly good)
-Manchego cheese (I don’t even like cheese much, but this one was amazing)
I had never been to a Spanish restaurant before I went to La Cantina. But now I can say that this is truly a nice cuisine. So hit the stop and take some tapas.
