Great place to have authentic German food! Cozy vintage atmosphere gives you a throwback of 100 years in German history. They also have some vegetarian options and try to use regional ingredients. I didn't check if they have an English menu, but I am sure you can rely on the recommendation of the waitress. And by the way, prices are very reasonable. Just try!

Tasty German/ regional food in a relaxing atmosphere. I liked a lot that kids where there, playing some table games. Food was good, tasty and pretty sufficient portions. Relaxing ‘home atmosphere’. The owner is a special character, I like her a lot, she has been a travel guide after 1975 to different places in Soviet Union. Great lady to chat with!

Lovely place ,we didn't have food just beer. Staff is polite . Atmosphere very vintage

How does this place have good reviews? We were ignored for 30 minutes and couldn’t even order a drink, the place was a quarter full. The only waiter then tells us rudely that if we order food it will be an hour wait as there’s 1 big order in front of us (7 people), imagine this place if full, horrendous.

Good German food, but the service was too slow. We waited more than one hour to get dessert

One of my favorite in Leipzig.
