Absolutely fantastic tribute to the many clowns from past to present. A huge variety of original costumes from the personalities themselves and the owner is friendly and welcoming and even presented me with a display clown which was so unexpectedly wonderful. Must see if you are in the area well worth the time, you could spend hours there in awe of the entire collection. Thank you for the opportunity to visit such a wonderful display.

Charming museum, I loved reading about all the different famous clowns and looking at all the figurines of the private collection, it so impressive! We had to use our phones to translate but would highly recommend. A must stop visit to your trip to Leipzig.

really fun and quirky museum with a very loving owner who’s incredibly friendly too. lots of great knick-knacks and pieces of history.

Sehr Sehenswert !! Nur ein bisschen wenig Platz für die ganzen Exponate. Eintritt nicht zu viel, wie bei anderen Museen in Leipzig. Herr Hormann sehr freundlich !!! Hat uns auch einige Exponate gezeigt, wie sie funktionieren, was wir sonst hinter der Glasscheibe nicht hätten sehen können und viel erzählt. Souvenir s kann man sich auch mitnehmen. Durch die Bahn auch gut zu erreichen. Gerne wieder !! Kommen bestimmt noch neue Sachen dazu.

It was definitely 45 minutes, just take your time and listen to and record everything at your own pace. We were able to ask questions towards the end, and in between, of course, ask questions. We must have talked to the owner for another 45 minutes about the history of the clowns and a little bit about all of the world. It was very nice, it is highly recommended and we all thanked you for the great time.

Wir waren heute im Clownsmuseum in Leipzig. Anfangs war das als Witz von ihr gedacht. Aber nicht mit mir! Also sind wir kurz darauf hin. Wir sind also in den kleinen Laden hinein. Der Besitzer sehr schlagfertig und freundlich. Wir könnten uns vieles zu den größten Spaßmachern(inzwischen Clowns) weltweit angucken und anhören. In diesem kleinen Örtchen ist die Zeit für einen Moment stehen geblieben. Es war sehr still bloß wir drei und der Besitzer der gewerkelt hat. Wir haben elektrische Guides bekommen die zu jeder Szenerie eine tolle Geschichte erzählte. Das waren bestimmt 45min sich einfach Zeit nehmen und sich alles in eigener Geschwindigkeit anhören und aufnehmen. Wir konnten zum Ende hin fragen stellen,und zwischendurch natürlich auch, Fragen stellen. Wir haben mit dem Besitzer bestimmt noch Mal 45 Minuten über die Geschichte der Clowns und ein wenig über Gott und die Welt geredet. Es war sehr schön, es ist sehr empfehlenswert und wir haben uns alle bedankt für die schöne Zeit.
