City Harbour Leipzig

A great idea to discover the city of Leipzig from a different view point. But unfortunately the staff is not very helpful, almost rude and not interested in business.
We went to the place at the water side. From there we were sent to the other side where the ticket booth is located. There we were told that they’re fully booked that day and for the following day we would have to check online ourselves, even she stood right in front of the pc. Asking nicely to check doesn’t help. I would have let it go, but my friends wanted to go. So I checked online and even could book for the same day. So why were we told that they are fully booked same day??

We liked it a lot, but it was raining. Anyway it is more interesting to take a kany than a motor ride. It is easy to paddle and safe. The route is interesting with lots of bridges and nice surrounding.

It's a good place for Kayaking. But it is very popular places so try to book it way before time. Go for atleast 2 hours to enjoy it the best.

First tour on Saturday the 24th and the guide was really good! Even it was such a early hour, he was humorous but in exactly the right portion. The tour is really enjoyable and I recommend it to everyone having an interested in history and Leipzig!

We used City Harbour for day bicycle hire - fantastic friendly service, really good bicycles and good service - thoroughly recommend (if you want to explore Leipzig in a day ... rent a bike).

The boat tour was really nice, 70 minutes, lots of cool photos. There are several companies offering tours, the one we found was sold out online, went there and found an almost empty one...
