Unser Kleiner hatte jetzt bereits den 2. Kurs - 200€ später- und kann es immer noch nicht! Aus seinem Kurs hat 1 Kind das Seepferdchen geschafft, wohl gemerkt war es bereits der Aufbaukurs. Das würden wir dort nicht noch einmal machen. Außerdem finde ich es unverschämt, dass man jetzt nicht wenigstens 1x eine Stunde nachholen kann, wenn ein Kind mal krank geworden ist und nicht teilnehmen konnte. Also hat man auch dies umsonst bezahlt. Sehr traurig!

In the course, which was much too short, we could hardly see any development in swimming.
The biggest problem is that missed courses, for example due to illness, cannot be made up for!

Wir haben vor ca 4 Jahren an zwei Babyschwimmen Kursen teilgenommen. Dieses Jahr am Babyschwimmen und am Schwimm-Lern-Kurs.
Die Kommunikation ist sehr schlecht. Trainer, Veranstalter und Betreiber des Westbades scheinen drei unabhängige Parteien zu sein, die zT gegeneinander arbeiten. Es ist unklar wer für was der richtige Ansprechpartner ist. Es wurde kein Gruppengefühl gefördert (beim Babyschwimmen - im Gegensatz zu dem Kurs vor 4 Jahren)
Die Kinder mussten wegen Corona (das ist überhaupt die Ausrede für alles) alleine zum Schwimmkurs rein. Die Schwimmtrainer haben mit den Begleitpersonen km Prinzip kein Wort gewechselt: sich nicht vorgestellt, nichts zum Ablauf gesagt und nichts zum Stand beim jeweiligen Kind zurückgemeldet. Wir konnten in dem viel zu kurzem Kurs kaum eine Entwicklung beim Schwimmen feststellen.
Das größte Problem ist, dass verpasste Kurse zB auf Grund von Krankheit nicht nachgeholt werden können!

Wir waren zum Babyschwimmkurs im Westbad. Leider muss man sagen, dass es jedesmal nix neues war und immer die selbe Handlung abgespielt wurde. Die gleichen Griffe, Lieder etc. 30 min waren so kurz. Natürlich ist mir bewusst, dass die Kleinen noch nicht so lange durchhalten aber 45 min wären besser. Kein Fotograf der die besonderen Momente festhält und der Kurs war altersmäßig von 4 Monaten bis über einem Jahr auch sehr durchwachsen vom Alter. Ich hatte bereits woanders einen Babyschwimmkurs und dieser war viel Abwechslungsreicher, trotz das auch dort natürlich die Abläufe ähnlich waren. Zum Beispiel gab es dort auch das erste Schwimmen/Treiben im Wasser mit Flügeln, Babytauchen, Ausruhen auf Schwimmmatten, gemeinsam Treiben auf Schwimmbrettern... die Kommunikation mit der Trainerin war ok und easy per WhatsApp App. Den Kurs würde ich nicht empfehlen.

Liebevolle Anleitung zum Schwimmen! Selbst sehr schüchterne Kinder fühlen sich in der kleinen Schwimmhalle schnell wohl.
Wir begrüßen es sehr, dass hier OHNE ZWANG das Schwimmen beigebracht wird. Nach dem Anfänger- und Aufbaukurs können alle, bis auf ein Kind, Schwimmen und tragen nun stolz ihr Seepferdchen und eine Medaille. In der letzten Stunde dürfen die Eltern zu schauen und für die Kinder gibt es eine kleine Überraschung. Das fanden wir wirklich schön.
Karin und Tobi haben das super gemacht und um es mit den Worten unserer Tochter zu sagen "Sie sind die besten Schwimmlehrer der Welt!"

Einzige Anregung: Es wäre schön, wenn durch einen Hinweis in der Halle klar gemacht werden würde, dass fotografieren in selbiger nicht erlaubt ist. Manche Eltern müssen die Schwimmstunde unbedingt bildlich festhalten, was ich sehr unangenehm finde, da ja auch alle anderen Kinder in Badesachen mit abgelichtet werden.
