In case you are on your way to Kiel, which is mostly famous for their nice beaches in close proximity and of cause the "Kieler Woche" (I probably give a review on this after this year's event in June), you might check out the LOUF! It's directly located close to the harbor, which is a nice view but also a nice place to sit, eat, or just having some drinks. At least once a month they have a specific "LOUF Event" which essentially is a Party at night and fairly popular. Lot's of people and a well mixed crowd from 20+ to 50 which enjoy drinks and the atmosphere around...definitively one of the better locations and recommended to try!

Very nice place, pet friendly, terasse and warm hall. Very tasty breakfast.

We had a friend visiting us for Christmas, so we made the mistake of inviting her to “Louf” for lunch the day after Christmas, since almost everything else was closed. During our wait for dessert, the waitress came to notify us (not asking) they needed the table so we should move to another smaller one. Fortunately, our guest has a good sense of humor, so we just made a couple of jokes about their hospitality (between ourselves, not to anybody else), finished lunch, and left…disappointing.

The waitres was so lovely and gave as a lovely service. The food was delicious and a big portion. Definitely, we will be back.

Nice cozy place. Good food. Huge portions! You dont walk away from there hungry.

Its very nice place nearly kiel canal.
Dishes are very good and freshy.
Serving womans are very kindly .
Everything is very nice place!!!
