A nice place to have fun with your friends!
We were here for celebrating one of our friend's birthday. The celebration begins with playing Kegeln (skittles) in a group. There are rooms you can book for your group. After playing we have had a dinner in its restaurant. The service is good. Food is satisfied. The location is also strategic.

The staff is very friendly and has a cheeky saying ready. The chef does an excellent job - the farmer's breakfast and the sour meat were quite excellent. And because it was a bit full and we had to wait, we got a little treat.
It's a shame that Kiel is so far away, otherwise we would definitely be here more often. Unfortunately we can't say anything about the rooms and the bowling alleys, since we didn't use it.

Durch Zufall auf dieses kleine aber feine Restaurant gestoßen. Vom Innenraum her ist "wie op'n Dörben", für unseren Geschmack gemütlich und Stammgäste werden mit Namen begrüßt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hat n frechen Spruch parat. Der Koch macht hervorragende Arbeit - das Bauernfrühstück und das Sauerfleisch waren ganz ausgezeichnet. Und weil es etwas voller war und wir warten mussten, bekamen wir ein kleines Schmankerl.
Schade, das Kiel soweit weg ist, sonst wären wir mit Sicherheit öfter hier. Zu den Zimmern und den Kegelbahnen können wir leider nix sagen, da wir es nicht genutzt haben.

Meine drei Sterne begründe ich damit, dass das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ein wenig zu hoch ist. Zum Teil waren die angebotenen Waren beim Frühstück eher Niedrigpreisen allerdings die warmen Speisen ausreichend und schmackhaft. (Entenkeule, Hirschfilet...)
Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Allerdings würde dem Restaurant eine Renovierung gut tun, da das Inventar eher alt aussieht.

Ich war gestern nach sehr langer Zeit mal wieder dort zum Geburtstag's Essen !!!! Um es einmal vorweg zu nehmen: Man sollte die Bewertung in zwei Teilen machen: einmal nur zum Essen gehen und dann noch Kegelbahn und Übernachtung!
Ich habe dort vor 51 Jahren geheiratet! Es war in unserem kleinen Vorort von Kiel Das Hotel mit einem großen Saal und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten!!Das Haus ist schon lange in Familienbesitz der Familie Armbrust ! Nun ist es den Ansprüchen der neuen Zeit natürlich nicht mehr angemessen!Es ist auch kein Hotel zum Urlaub machen,sondern für Monteure,Vertreter und Kurzbesucher, die ihre Verwandten mal besuchen möchten!! Das ist auch OK,man muß das nur wissen....die Kegelbahn ist die einzige in der Nähe,die Zimmer müssten sicher renoviert werden,aber wer traut sich das im 2.Corona-Jahr zu,nicht wissen,was noch kommt!!!Zum Essen gehen ist man dort auf jeden Fall gut aufgehoben,wenn man gut bürgerlich essen mag!!die Portionen sind riesig ,das gibt auch den 4.Stern ,und bedient wird man sehr nett!! Vielleicht hat der heutige Besitzer nochmal den Mut etwas zu verändern!!!Wir haben uns jedenfalls dort sehr gern aufgehalten!!!!!

Wir waren mit dem Club zum Grünkohl essen dort. Alles in Allem ein tolles Essen ???? mit einem super Service. ????
Der Grünkohl schmeckt nach Grünkohl und nicht süß! Richtig lecker!
Die Kartoffeln ???? gab es in salzig und süß, beide top und schön fest.
Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns alle regelmäßig mit neuen Getränken ???? ???? versorgen, was ja leider auch nicht mehr so selbstverständlich ist.
Kann man sehr gut weiter empfehlen ????
