We had a great time here - it's at the shore with lovely view to the water, architecture-wise cleverly made with a modern box attached to the traditional architecture building of the hotel.
Host and waiter was friendly, both dishes were great, especially recommended is the tuna steak. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and exclusivity.
We just walked in, be aware that kitchen closes 20:30!

Excellent hotel with a great view. The room was spacious and clean.
The restaurant menu is small but varied, the meal was of excellent quality.
The hotel breakfast is also recommended.

Overal, if you like the nautical theme or you need an overnight in Kiel with a great view. I would surely recommend this.

I am surprised to be the first reviewer of this Yacht Club!
I visited during a regatta when many of the other competitors were among the guests, some of whom were very distinguished celebrities.
The food was excellent and the restaurant was very professionally managed

KYC is a four star rated hotel. Moderne design. Excellent restaurant. Professoinal and serviceminded staff. Beautiful wiev over the Kielerfjorden.

Luxurious ambience. Highly professional and friendly service. Excellent kitchen.

Even if you don't stay here, visit the bar and have something to drink, great place for everyone who are interested in sailing and boatlife.
