Einer der ältesten Läden in Kiel im (mittlerweile 6 Monate altem) neuen Gewand! Sehr kleine, aber gute Essenskarte und exzellente Getränkeauswahl! Das Personal ist sehr direkt d. h. norddeutsch, was ich liebe und perfekt in diese modernisierte Eckkneipenatmosphäre passt! Obwohl Die Gaslaterne sehr nah an der Bergstraße ist, gibt es keine besoffenen Assis, das Publikum setzt sich aus alten und neuen Stammgästen zusammen, die eine gemütliche Stimmung erzeugen. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

Eine rustikale Kneipe mit netter Atmosphäre und freundlicher Bedienung mitten in der Innenstadt, wer hätte das gedacht ?
Nachdem ich eher ausversehen als Kieler seid 50 Jahren darauf gestoßen war, obwohl ich Dutzende Male im Studio Kino schräg gegenüber gewesen bin ohne die Gaslaterne zu bemerken.

Kann ich nur sagen Top, die Speisekarte empfinde ich als etwas merkwürdig von der Zusammenstellung, die Bratkartoffeln (welche den Namen verdienen!) sind definitiv ein Highlight und mein persönlicher Favorit sind die Schweinemedallions in Ei-Parmesanhülle auf Spaghetti mit Tomatensosse.
