Loved our meal at this place when we came to Kassel for documenta. Clearly popular, we were lucky to get a late table one night without reservations, after returning three times over the course of the evening to check in. Three's a charm! Great meal, wonderful wine, all offerings tasty and thoughtfully prepared and served. An owner engaged us and offered us grappa after our meal! The chef kindly showed us a beautiful marinade in process. We wanted very much to come back on our last night but it was even busier then and we didn't stand a chance. Highly recommend for a lovely meal in Kassel (but make reservations if you can).

Great food, wines and service. Every dish (and drink) we tried was well made and most tasty. Lovely garden patio to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Elis and his team really accomodate their guests, also when there with a larger and bustling group. We got there only in connect with the Documenta, while would certainly come back for a next lovely time even before in five years - worth the detour !

Incredible atmosphere, super recommendation for a dinner with your partner or friends. The food and drinks are excellent. The staff is guiding you through their menu of food, drinks and desserts in order to find the suitable for your taste. You should try!

Great traditional Italian fare. The wait staff is friendly and has great recommendations. The place is cozy and a nice place for entertaining. Especially good for work visits

Good quality, not sure about the amount of butter to heat the dishes, well seasoned and hot (temperature). Possibly a trifle expensive, but the overall impression is very good, nice waiter. Thanks

Top notch Italian cuisine made with fresh premium ingredients. The owners are passionate about the restaurant and food, and it obviously shows. Service was great, and be sure to save room for dessert as the panna cotta is superb.
