Firstly, let me say that it is a self service restaurant and it is similar to a mess in India which serves home made food.
The restaurant is a bit small compared to other restaurants, but they don't lack in the taste! They also have chairs and table put outside.
We went here for lunch. Food was so delicious. Myself and my boyfriend ordered a Rose lassi, lemonade, Dal makhani and Sahi paneer. The portion was correct and so the food is not wasted.
Dal Makhani had not more butter, rather the right amount of butter which exactly every Indian mom puts thinking about the health. (Too much of butter makes us not eat the curry fully) I suppose they make vegan black dal and then add cream and butter later when served.
Sahi Paneer was also good. It was a bit sweet though. Paneer seemed to be homemade.
The curry came with Basmathi Rice which was properly cooked and a papad. Each plate came with a sauce. Koriander jogert sauce was the highlight!
Lassi was good as well.
It costed us around 30€.
The second time we went on the same day for dinner and it was a take away. We ordered a pakora and also a yogi Tali in which there was rice 2 curries and 2 sauces.
The pakora was priper gemüse pakora mainly more spinach, a few onions and a few carrots.
The Vegan Yogi thali had yellow or black dal of our choice and gemüse curry out of which we selected black dal(which was the same dal makhani curry without butter) and also chose gemüse curry which had long beans and carrot which were fresh. It was a bit sweet though, so we had to eat it along with dal. It was actually enough for two people. It costed around 15€ (50 cents for the box, we could even bring our own box)
The price is affordable and the food is healthy and tasty as well!
Above all, they keep a bowl of rice and a bowl of water for sparrows. It was so lovely and humane. It is very hard to see such kindness nowadays.
I recommend this restaurant to everyone.
My only suggestion to the restaurant is that you could reduce the sweetness in the gemüse curry.
