A little expensive for stellplatz parking. Smart cards issued to meter EHU, showers, laundry, WiFi and motor home services, which are all paid for in addition to the 15€ per night.

We have stayed in more welcoming pretty suburban sites in Germany and other European countries, that offer good motorhome services at little or no cost.

Decent spot for casual camping. Felt a bit pushed in to a corner with our spot but other things made up for it.

It's a nice campsite. Nice new facilities and friendly staff.

This campsite was just what we needed. We stayed one night with a small tent and got a nice spot in the shadows near the water, with electricity and enough space to park our car next to the tent. Unfortunately, we arrived just after 13:00 when the reception was closed (opened again at 15:00), however the staff was so kind to help us. They do not all speak English, but they make an effort to help their guests.
The campsite is well maintained. Sanitary facilities are basic, but sufficient.
It has been a very pleasant stay.

Very good facilities but extremely poor reception management. Check-in took about 45 minutes (for one tent!) and check-out (to claim deposit) was delayed because nobody attended the reception at 9:30 (opening hours 8:30-12:00). So bring lots of spare time when you come here...

Well kept site in good location on the river Fulda with easy access to park, center and bus and tram stops. Large pitches with electricity hook up. Only negative are the showers which are a bit open and offer no privacy. Take a bath robe is you are shy????. Personnel very helpful and friendly. Across road is a campervan parking site for 20 vans. Gravel site clean with hook ups. Can use camp site facilities.

Nice camping, close to the canal and Fulda lake, parks and central town. Helpful staff who talk good english. Easy to get around town with nearby public transport. Would recommend to go for a walk or bicycle to the fantastic nearby parks, and especially Karlsaue State Park should be visited even if you only stay only one night. This because this is only a 3-5 minute walk away from the camping ground, and is a fantastic experience with its large canals, birdlife , gardens and big trees. Reception and sanitary buildings are temporarily containers as some other reviews says, but this is not a problem as the standard is good.
