YOU MUST GO!! This place is amazing. You can sit inside and outside. The brew their own beer and the taste is rich and fresh. Food was just perfect. And I was stunned when we paid for the bill. For example, Schweinshaxe was well cooked and crispy skins was just perfect and it was 8-9Eur. It was just nothing. Good food and beer at really good price. Next time if I have a chance to go near Karlsruhe, I will definitely visit again.

Very friendly place, attached to the Der Blaue Reiter hotel next door.

Food options are limited, but the haxe was very good. Beer options are primarily Vogel brews, of course, and the seasonal Nicholasbier was very good. We returned several nights in a row, and had a very good time.

It can get more than a little busy when a game is showing.

When looking for good beer in Karlsruhe, head on to Vogelbräu. Restaurant is very conveniently located in Durlach, serves traditional german food and in summer features a nice beer garden.

Schweinshaxe here is much better than in famous hofbräuhous in Munich. Fresh self brewed bier.

Beer is very good and food is okay and affordable.

Sorry! Staff in kitchen takes a way too easy going approach to the Covid safety measures. Face masks on and off, not covering their noses and sometimes nothing at all!!
